Product Demonstrations
There are several product demos planned for Clay Camp this year. This is a great chance for you to see an in-person demonstration of a product, see some examples of use, learn a few tips, and try it for yourself! We will be raffling the products on Sunday afternoon. Some of the featured products include:
Kamenskaya Guilding Fluid
Water Soluble Transfer Paper
UV Resin for Beginners
Intense Colorshift Chameleon Flakes
StazOn Solvent Metallic Inks
Koala No Spray Waterslide Paper
Bonus Class!
Collage and Concertina Book Making with Dawn Gray
(day and time TBA)
Join Dawn in covering a sheet of watercolor paper with collage elements (Nat Geo magazine photos, gel prints, old sheet music, old book pages etc.) and then using that sheet later to make a concertina or accordion style book. Cover options will also be discussed. There will need to be some drying time so collage elements will be left out during Camp for anyone to use.
Dawn will provide all watercolor paper, collage elements and gel medium but you will need to bring:
– Paintbrush to use with gel medium/glue
– Small jar for water to soak your paintbrush
– Any extra elements to add to your collage – photos, ticket stubs, fibers, things that have meaning to you
– Scissors
– Pens, pencils or markers to doodle/draw on your collage
